Thirty-eight inches of performance velvet is a decision, not an accessory. This Tilden is meant to sit at the center of a seating arrangement and pull everything toward it.
The velvet is stain-resistant, which matters more the larger the surface gets, and French piping runs the full circumference to keep the tailoring sharp. Dense foam padding supports a tray, a book, or a person. The rubberwood plinth base is a clean, uninterrupted line, with non-marking glides underneath to protect finished floors. It belongs with our other ottomans and poufs and reads beautifully against the tone and pile of our velvet sectionals.
