Queen Beds

A queen bed is big enough for two and right-sized for most bedrooms, which is why it's the size most shoppers land on. Our queen collection ranges from velvet upholstered frames with matching mirrors to tweed and boucle headboards on solid platform bases, so you can pick a look that fits the rest of your bedroom furniture without hunting for a separate box spring.

Matching your headboard to the room

A tall upholstered headboard, like the styles finished in gray or black velvet, adds presence to a primary bedroom, while a lower platform frame such as the Daphne suits smaller rooms or a more minimalist look. Several of our queen beds are sold as part of a bedroom group with a matching mirror or nightstand, which makes furnishing the room in one order simple.

Platform frames support most mattress types directly, so in most cases you can skip the box spring altogether. Look at slat spacing and frame height together with your mattress thickness to make sure the finished bed sits at a comfortable height for getting in and out.

Frame material matters for long-term feel, too: solid wood platform bases tend to hold their shape season after season, while upholstered frames add a softer, more tailored look to the room. If you're furnishing a guest room or a first apartment, a simple platform bed keeps the budget in check without sacrificing the clean, contemporary lines that tie the rest of the bedroom together.
