Flared arms are a vintage move, and the Vaughn borrows them without borrowing the rest. The arms angle outward, the backrest is contoured rather than boxy, and the result nods to retro charm while sitting comfortably in a contemporary room.
Soft grey polyester upholstery keeps it easygoing, and a sculptural solid rubberwood frame in a blonde finish wraps the base, a warm line of exposed wood that lifts the whole silhouette off the floor.
