Description
Rockefeller 2.0 Nightstand in Chestnut Brown
Chestnut brown reads warmer than walnut and quieter than oak, which is exactly why this bedside piece settles into a room so easily. The Rockefeller 2.0 keeps its lines low and uninterrupted, letting the finish carry the character.
It is built for the ordinary choreography of a bedroom: a book, a glass of water, a charging cable, a pair of reading glasses. Storage stays discreet, so the surface remains clear and the silhouette stays calm alongside a headboard or a soft upholstered frame. Compare finishes across our full range of bedside nightstands, or plan the room with our modern bedroom furniture.
- Chestnut brown finish with warm, grounded depth
- Compact bedside footprint suited to tight bedroom clearances
- Enclosed storage for the essentials you would rather not display
- Durable construction built for daily use in primary and guest rooms
In a New York bedroom where the walk between bed and wall is measured in inches, that restraint counts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you order. Still stuck? Call or text 844-305-3247 or email support@newyorkmodern.com.
How long will it take to get this?
In-stock items ship within 1–3 business days. Transit time averages 5 to 14 business days depending on the size of your order and your destination. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as the order leaves our warehouse.
What does delivery include?
Free Threshold Delivery, included on orders of $50 or more, brings the piece to the first dry area of your home, such as inside the front door or the garage. It does not include unpacking or assembly, and the delivery team does not take packaging away. White Glove Delivery and Assembly is available at checkout for $199.99: delivery to the room of your choice, full assembly and removal of all packaging.
Does it arrive assembled?
Assembly requirements are noted in the product details above. Storage pieces often arrive assembled with the drawers packed separately. White Glove Delivery and Assembly is available at checkout for $199.99 and includes assembly and packaging removal.
Should it be anchored to the wall?
Any tall chest or dresser in a home with children or pets should be secured to the wall. If anti-tip hardware is supplied with this piece it is listed in the details above. Otherwise a standard furniture anti-tip kit from a hardware store does the job.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery to start a return. Contact us first for a Return Merchandise Authorization number. The piece must be new, unused and in its original packaging. Non-defective returns carry a 30% restocking fee, and return shipping is paid by the customer. Damage or defects reported within 24 hours of delivery are repaired or replaced at no cost.
What warranty comes with it?
Our products are covered by a limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship; the length of coverage depends on the product. We handle claims for you: a technician first attempts a repair, and a replacement is arranged if the item cannot be restored. It does not cover normal wear and tear, pet or accidental damage, or commercial use. Email us for a free copy of the warranty for this product. Orders placed with a promotional 5-year warranty keep those terms.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. You can pay over time with Affirm or Klarna at checkout, subject to eligibility (see affirm.com/disclosures for lending terms). PayTomorrow is also available, including a no-credit-needed option. Prequalifying does not affect your credit score.
