A nightstand should hold whatever the day leaves behind. The Maderia does it in three registers: an open middle shelf for the book you are halfway through, a felt-lined top drawer in dark brown for a watch or a pair of earrings, and a lower drawer for everything less precious.
Both drawers are lined in premium cedar, keeping the interior fresh and protected against pests. The rich walnut veneer shows its grain honestly, while rounded corners and integrated fingertip pulls mean no hardware interrupts the line, which is useful when you are reaching for it in the dark. Tapered legs lift the whole piece just enough to lighten it.
