Burl Grain, Minimal Frame
Burl is the most expressive grain in furniture, all swirl and figure, and Hudson uses it with discipline. The burl wood paper laminate covers a spare, geometric console so the material does the talking and the form stays out of its way.
Two full-glide drawers take mail, chargers, and the things guests should not see. The open shelf below is for the things they should: books, a low bowl, a run of magazines. At 46.9 inches wide and 15.4 deep, it works behind a sofa, along an entry wall, or under a mirror. Non-marking floor glides protect the surface beneath. Pair it with the rest of your living room furniture or with a matching-tone piece from our modern dressers.
