How long will it take to get this?
In-stock items ship within 48 hours. Transit time averages 5 to 14 business days depending on the size of your order and your destination. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as the order leaves our warehouse.
What does delivery include?
Free Threshold Delivery, included on orders of $50 or more, brings the piece to the first dry area of your home, such as inside the front door or the garage. It does not include unpacking or assembly, and the delivery team does not take packaging away. White Glove Delivery and Assembly is available at checkout for $199.99: delivery to the room of your choice, full assembly and removal of all packaging.
Will it fit through my door?
Measure your doorways, hallways, stairwells and elevator against the dimensions listed in the product details above before you order. A delivery that cannot be completed because the piece does not fit is treated as a return under our return policy, so the measuring step is worth the five minutes.
Can I see the fabric or leather before I buy?
Yes. We send up to four swatches of your choice at no charge. Email support@newyorkmodern.com or start a chat with the product name and the colors you are considering.
Is this suitable for a business or a rental?
All of our leather pieces are commercial grade and many fabric pieces are suitable for commercial use as well. Note that the manufacturer warranty covers residential use, so email us before ordering for an office, a short-term rental or a hospitality project.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from purchase to return an item. Contact us first for a Return Merchandise Authorization number. The piece must go back in its original packaging in like-new condition. Non-defective returns carry a 25% restocking fee, and the outbound and return shipping costs are deducted from the refund because the shipping you received was free to you. Defective or transit-damaged items are replaced, repaired or supplied with parts at no cost.
What warranty comes with it?
Every product carries a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It applies to items bought directly from us and used as intended in a home. It does not cover normal wear and tear, pet or accidental damage, or commercial use. If your promo code included a free 5-year warranty, the same terms run for 5 years.
Can I pay monthly?
