The Basket Chair, Rendered in Black
Anson takes the round basket silhouette and strips it back to essentials: a hammock-weave seat in polyethylene rattan, held by a steel frame finished in polished black. Thin angled legs keep the whole thing looking lighter than it measures.
The weave does the real work. Hammock construction gives under you rather than resisting, which is why the shape has outlasted decades of outdoor trends. Faux rattan handles exposure without fuss, and the steel frame simply wipes clean.
