Medium is the most negotiable firmness there is — soft enough for side sleepers, resolved enough for backs — and this queen builds it from two materials doing different jobs. Gel-infused memory foam on top contours and relieves pressure at the hip and shoulder. Coils below return the support that foam alone gives away over time.
The combination also isolates motion, so a partner who gets up at five does not wake the one who does not have to. A polyester cover finishes the surface with a soft, luxurious hand.
